Emma Heming Willis—devoted wife, mother, and advocate—found herself navigating an unthinkable reality following her husband Bruce Willis’s diagnosis. In the midst of caregiving, she uncovered a wealth of invaluable resources, expert guidance, and emotional support—many of which remain out of reach for the broader community facing similar diagnoses. Emma knew she wanted to create a space where she could share these resources with her audience.

As Emma prepared to launch her book, The Unexpected Journey, she came to November Design Studio to translate her deeply personal experience into a brand that could serve others. The goal was to create a unified identity and digital platform that felt like a trusted companion—one that offers clarity, compassion, and connection for care partners navigating the complexities of dementia and FTD.
